The Congress amend the constitution in order to prevent overwhelmed powers.
If I amend the Constitution I first divde the powers between the state government and federal government.
Then I would that every citizen would have their own rights and own powers.
Then I establish laws of the Constitution where the government can establish their own powers.
Please re-do this post because it did not answer the question, what was the process, the steps taken to amend the Constitution. PLease PLease learn them and review the sheets i gave you because this question will be on your test! A tip for you we amed the constitution because what was fine in the 1700's maybe not work today, laws and people are always changing and the Constitution needs to change also.
